  Before my consultation with Dr. Shah, I was anxious and concerned about the work I need. My dental hygienist stated that my tooth with a prior root canal was showing signs of infection.
  
  I was told my root canal needed to be retreated. I went to an endodontist and he said that he wouldn’t retreat or recommend that I do so. He mentioned that I should consider an implant. I happened to receive a mailer from Mint Dental for a free consultation on dental implants. My friend who is a patient at Mint Dental also recommended the two Dr. Shah’s.
  
  Dr. Shah was extremely helpful and didn’t push for me to have a retreatment of my root canal or a dental implant. He spoke frankly with me, as if I were one of his family members and what would be his recommendation. His reassurance and not being talked into any particular treatment was so welcoming and unexpected.
  
  Dr. Shah’s recommendation was to have another endodontist evaluate the tooth if it’s worth retreating. He also gave me names of endodontists that he knew close by. His kindness and assistance went above and beyond when I asked if the doctors would offer a courtesy consultation since I just recently deferred our dental insurance of 20 years to look into other plans. Dr. Shah said he would call the office tomorrow, and speak with them personally, then call to let me know what the arrangement will be. That’s topnotch service that I would never expect or impose upon a doctor to do. Dr. Shah called the next day, as promised, he made arrangements for me to have a courtesy evaluation with an endodontist. I am grateful for his care and kindness and I’m not even a patient of his…yet.
  
  I highly recommend Dr. Shah. He truly cares about his patients (this was even before I read any reviews about him and Mint Dental. All great reviews!) and it shows that he enjoys his work. Linda was very helpful and accommodating. She was able to schedule me for a consultation easily. It was a pleasure visiting Mint Dental for my consultation and meeting Dr. Shah and his staff.
